Finger weg bei ATU Bretten alles was mit Spur einstellen, Reifen-Wechsel, Bremsscheiben-Wechsel, Achsvermessung oder sonstigem, also alles im Zusammenhang Reifen, Achsen- und Bremsanlage zu tun hat. Ich habe mir jetzt mal die Zeit genommen sämtliche Bewertungen durchzulesen und da habe ich leider feststellen müssen, dass viele Kunden im Nachhinein immer wieder Probleme hatten, wenn an Bremsen, Reifen, Radwechsel oder Bremsscheiben etwas gemacht wurde. Wie zum Beispiel in meinem Fall mit den Radschrauben die dann hinterher locker wurden. Das ist Lebensgefährlich. Ich empfehle jedem, mit Reifen-Bremsscheibendingen unbedingt in eine Fachwerkstatt zu fahren. ATU hat diesbezüglich nicht die Kompetenz dazu. Ich kann das bis heute noch nicht verarbeiten, was sich diese Mitarbeiter da bei dem Auto meiner Tochter geleistet haben. Wenn meine Fachwerkstatt den Fehler von ATU nicht bemerkt hätte, könnte meine Tochter heute Tod sein. Und im Anschluss, diese komischen Standardschreiben dieser Community sind nichts Wert. Geben Sie uns die Chance auf eine Rücksprache usw. Bla bla bla. Interessiert gar keinen, alles nur Blödsinnig und Zeitverschwendung.
Fazit:
Fachwerkstatt gehen, ein bisschen mehr bezahlen, aber dafür wird das Auto MANGELFREI von kompetenten Leuten repariert und nicht von Pfuschern. Also so werde ich in Zukunft handeln. Was habe ich davon wenn ich bei ATU etwas machen lasse und hinterher war es dann Pfusch. Da spare ich kein Geld. Am Ende zahle ich drauf.
Empfehlung:
Vieles kann man ja selber machen, wie zum Beispiel einen Batteriewechsel am Auto oder Sicherung austauschen. Diese Sachen kann man bei ATU unbeschwert kaufen, dass ist kein Problem. Die Preise sind auch fair.

Fall Nummer 1
ATU hat mit einem günstigen Angebot, ca. 70 Euro im Internet mit Spur einstellen fürs Auto geworben. Das habe ich machen lassen. Dann kam das Böse erwachen. Ich sollte noch die Kalibrierung am Fahrzeug machen lassen, aber dazu müsste ich nach Pforzheim zu ATU fahren, weil es in Bretten nicht die Möglichkeit und die Vorrichtungen dazu gibt. Na toll dachte ich mir. So viel Zeit habe ich leider nicht und ich hatte auch echt keine Lust nach Pforzheim zu fahren. Das hätte mir man auch alles schon vorher sagen können. Denn dann hätte ich das alles gar nicht gemacht. Da bin ich mit einem günstigen Angebot (Spur einstellen) ganz schön auf den Leim gegangen.
Fazit:
Für mich ist klar, dass ich solche Dinge nicht mehr bei ATU machen lassen werde. Nur noch in einer Fachwerkstatt.
Fall Nummer 2
Das Auto meiner Tochter war bei ATU. Dort wurden an beiden Vorderrädern die Bremsscheiben erneuert.
Ca. 2 Monate später wackelte während der Fahrt das Auto. Der Freund meiner Tochter bemerkte das die Radschrauben an den Vorderrädern locker waren. Ok festgezogen und gut.
Jetzt ganz aktuell (06.02.2025), fuhr meine Tochter von Bruchsal nach Heidelberg über die A5. In Höhe Ubstadt Weiher musste sie dann auf der Autobahn an einen Rastplatz rausfahren.
Grund:
Das Auto wackelte schon wieder. Sie rief den ADAC und dieser stellte auch lockere Radmuttern an den Vorderrädern fest. Schrauben festgezogen und gut.
Ich war misstrauisch und fuhr das Auto meiner Tochter in eine Werkstatt. Diese stellte dann fest, dass beim letzten Bremsscheibenwechsel die Bolzen massiv mit Fett eingerieben wurden und das hat dazu geführt das sich die Muttern lockerten und somit die Vorderräder locker wurden. Der Werkstattmeister sagte das sei verboten die Bolzen mit Fett einzuschmieren. So etwas darf man gar nicht. Alle Bolzen wurden erneuert.
Meiner Tochter ist zum Glück nichts passiert und es kam auch zu keinem Unfall. Ich will mal sagen das sie einen guten Schutzengel hatte. Meine Empfehlung: Für bestimmte Autoreparaturen sollte man dann doch lieber nur in eine Fachwerkstatt gehen. Die Mitarbeiter sind zwar nett und freundlich, aber das hätte meiner Tochter auch nicht weitergeholfen wenn sie irgendwo im Graben gelegen wäre.

I recommend that everyone with tire and brake disc things definitely go to a specialist workshop. ATU does not have the competence to do so. To this day I still can't process what these employees did with my daughter's car. If my specialist workshop hadn't noticed ATU's error, my daughter could be dead today. And finally, these strange standard letters from this community are worthless. Give us the chance to consult, etc. Bla bla bla. Nobody cares, it's all just stupid and a waste of time.
Conclusion:
Go to a specialist workshop, pay a little more, but in return the car will be repaired WITHOUT DEFECTS by competent people and not by bunglers. So that's how I'll act in the future. What's in it for me if I have something done at ATU and then it's a botched job afterwards. I don't save any money. In the end I pay for it.
Recommendation:
You can do a lot of things yourself, such as changing the car battery or replacing the fuse. You can buy these things at ATU without any worries, that's no problem. The prices are also fair.

Stay away from tires, axles and brakes. Please only take this to a SPECIALIST WORKSHOP!!!
Case number 1
ATU has advertised a cheap offer for the car on the Internet, around 70 euros, with setting the track. I had that done. Then evil awakened. I should have the vehicle calibrated, but I would have to go to ATU in Pforzheim because there is no possibility or equipment for this in Bretten. Great, I thought. Unfortunately I don't have that much time and I really didn't feel like going to Pforzheim. You could have told me all of this beforehand. Because then I wouldn't have done any of this. I was really taken for a ride with a cheap offer (setting the track).
Conclusion:
It is clear to me that I will no longer allow such things to be done at ATU. Only in a specialist workshop.
Case number 2
My daughter's car was at ATU. The brake discs on both front wheels were replaced.
About 2 months later the car shook while driving. My daughter's friend noticed that the wheel bolts on the front wheels were loose. Ok tightened and good.
Now very recently (February 6th, 2025), my daughter drove from Bruchsal to Heidelberg via the A5. At Ubstadt Weiher she then had to drive out to a rest area on the motorway.
Reason:
The car was shaking again. She called the ADAC and they also discovered loose wheel nuts on the front wheels. Screws tightened and good.
I was suspicious and drove my daughter's car to a repair shop. This then discovered that the last time the brake disc was changed, the bolts had been heavily rubbed with grease and this led to the nuts becoming loose and thus the front wheels becoming loose. The workshop foreman said it was forbidden to lubricate the bolts with grease. You're not allowed to do something like that. All bolts were replaced.
Luckily nothing happened to my daughter and there was no accident. I want to say that she had a good guardian angel. My recommendation: For certain car repairs, you should only go to a specialist workshop. The staff are nice and friendly, but that wouldn't have helped my daughter if she was lying in a ditch somewhere.
